Radio Recorders, Los Angeles California, for the Davis & Schwegler Corporation
Nat Cole (piano, vocal), Oscar Moore (guitar, vocal) and Wesley Prince (bass, vocal), Juanelda Carter (vocal+), Bonnie Lake (vocal*)
Note: Nat, Oscar and Wesley are credited as The King Cole Swingsters.
Note: some selections were also subsequently pressed on commercial 10" 78s. I'm not clear if these would have inadvertently constituted Nat's first commercial records. I am clear that these are the same as appear as transcriptions on Vintage Jazz Classics (VJC-1026/27/28/29) and from commercial releases on Savoy Jazz (ZDS 1205).
Note: Bonnie Lake was a singer and a successful songwriter. She was also the sister of film star Ann Southern. It is believed that Bonnie arranged for this session.
